Less air pollutants (formaldehyde) and fine dust in rooms
Reduce air pollutants by 90%

In our lives we place more and more emphasis on healthy nutrition, wellness, ecology, physical exercise and physical and mental balance. But we pay too little attention to what determines our lives far more than anything else: breathing.
First of all, we spend nearly 90% of our time indoors, and second, breathing is and remains vital. The quality of the breath is important and vital to our health. The symptoms range from eye inflammation, irritation of the mucous membranes, headaches to exhaustion, fatigue and much more.
The ZirbenLüfter® CLASSIC, CUBE and CUBE mini reduce the most important air pollutants by up to 90%. In a funded study - carried out at the Wood K Plus Competence Center Wood at the Institute of Process Engineering Vienna University of Technology - it was found that the most common air pollutant, formaldehyde *, was reduced by up to 90% in a short time. The tests were carried out on the products ZirbenLüfter® CLASSIC and CUBE. The unique swirling principle of the ZirbenLüfter®, the air washing, the constant movement of the air in the room and the scent of the Swiss stone pine are the reason for the surprisingly good measuring result.

More details can be found in the final report of the study TU14002.

 Info about formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a colorless irritant gas and can lead to health impairments even in very low concentrations. Formaldehyde escapes from many everyday products, such as wood-based materials (chipboard) disinfectants, products of combustion (tobacco smoke, open flames), wall paints, carpets, adhesives, etc. Elevated levels of formaldehyde cause conjunctival irritation, swelling of the mucous membranes and headache in susceptible people. Formaldehyde has an increasing effect on asthmatic symptoms. If you breathe in formaldehyde, it is very likely to have an allergenic potential - and a carcinogenic effect is not completely eliminated.
